You left me breathless, you left me hanging, you left faster than lightning and thunderstorms leave the sky. You ran out of my life faster than a rain drop hitting the ground. You left me behind thirsty; thirsty for your love. I begged you to set me free but you refused, i begged you to untie me, i begged you to cut the rope and let me go, “i never told you to love me, untie yourself, and try to forget me, if you can” you said mercilessly.
Before you left me i made all the possible scenarios in my head, i kept repeating and repeating all the scenarios in my head, I thought I prepared myself i thought this way It won’t surprise me when you leave. But when it happened i was dreadfully shocked.
All the scenarios i made failed me, it was none of them, That day you disappeared faster than a ghost, I stood crying after the loss of you. I couldn’t believe that you left me, how could a heart that once loved me decide in a moment to leave, how could a heart that once loved me just in a blink of an eye decide to stop loving me?
I thought our love will last for an eternity,but do you know what would last for an eternity? Me hanging between wanting you to want me and waiting for you to come back and get me because you were too damn selfish to let me go.
